Corrupt images

i have a selection of photo's that when viewed on my camera are perfect, once on my pc and viewed through windows live photo gallery or PS, i get the damaged or corrrupted message, i have scoured the net for software to repair them and have got nothing, so im hoping someone on here know's of any software i can download/buy which will do the job?

did you manipulate the images while viewing them? ie. rotate, edit... try reverting to original state and see if that helps.

they are all in the original state that i took them, basic landscape pics

im baffled and annoyed

How did you upload the photos to your computer? Did you leave the memory card in the camera and connect the camera to the computer?

ive tried both leaving the card in the camera and using the card reader in my pc, same outcome
