This is a good example of always revisiting sites for changes - especially gardens. I had been to these gardens that the cosmos was very thin and rather unattractive. But in a very short time, it filled out beautifully and had some great blossoms. So I ended up with a few nice shots.
Looking at the three shots, I did very little processing, but still the blossoms seem to have a definite fringe around them. I can't decided whether it looks like a bad cut and paste job (not cut and paste) or just a pop vibe to it. I went back and checked the original raw files and the edge is the same. These were the only flowers that had the fringe and, other than focal length in the close-up, I wasn't pushing the extremes of lens or body.
Thoughts?
