Yeah i knew that , but she wanted couple of pictures with her horse and that was the only time she could do it so we had to work with what we got

poke your camera between the rails so a pipe doesn't overwhelm the picture.

I find it kind of weirdly interesting. It definitely doesn't look like a standard portrait, and if what she wanted was a pretty picture of herself with her pretty horse, this ain't it.

On the other hand there are some nice strong graphical elements, and some strangely ambiguous stuff going on. Does she have her eyes closed? Is she reaching out to the horse psychically? Why are her eyelashes so.. strong? It feels like a strong attempt at some sort of art. I don't know if it works, but it's definitely trying.

No its just a cool funky lookin horse its very light color with a tan mark on the side and light blue eyes

Yeah lookin back to it i wish i did alot of things different with it but just need to learn alot more

Don't be afraid to offer some direction. Many people don't know what is expected of them in a pose, nor do they see what the photographer sees. Next time, just ask her to move that way, stand that way, look this way, move her hand a little, and anything that the shot needs to be better.

You are the photographer, so you watch the light, the quality of the light, and how harsh it is. Be prepared with a scrim or reflector as required, use fill flash, soften the flash somehow (maybe bounce it off the reflector?).

Watch the background, the foreground, and extra elements (like hair blowing over someone's eyes). You would be surprised at how distracting a little tear in the clothing, or a smudge can be. You might even suggest her clothing if you get to take lots of pictures with her.

I will im usally pretty good at letting people know what to do and how to be but like you prob know urself some people are either too shy or just cant pose or act just relaxed normal when they have a camera in there face. But ive learned alittle to help the girls out ive takin pictures off, i started off just doin make up for people and i still do but thats how it started mainly i allways took photos of the girls i did make up for but then i started loving doin photos and wana step up my ame with that
