Couple B&Ws...

Here's a couple I've taken in the last couple days, practicing with my Lensbaby I just got. Any C&C is welcome!

2 I realize my dog's eye is out of focus on this one

Very narrow depth of field on the pooch, IMO. I realize it's not an easy shot that close. Was that a hand held shot? What aperture did you use? Could you have stopped the lens down without causing camera shake?

It was a hand held shot. I'm not really sure which aperture.. I either used the biggest disk or no disk at all. So it was either f/2.8 or f/2.0.

I'll comment about the first one - I love it! Very engaging.

I too like the first one, but props on the second. Dogs are hard to shot, they never sit still and the difficulty would be increased by fiddling around with a lensbaby.
