Couple model shots I did at a garage.

What do you guys think? I'm just starting to get comfortable working with models and telling them how to pose. This was from my first professional shoot for Tech Plus Automotive garage.

I really like number one but I might burn in a bit of her arm. I am not a fan of #2 but I know nothing about car/automotive photography. To me its just too busy.

I agree. #1 is good, but without the hand (or at least if the hand wasn't so bright) it would be great.

i like both but see a small issue with 2. the dof is making the model start to blur slighty. dont blur the hot women! but cool pose.

First shot is best of the two. In the second shot, the DOF is too shallow--wish there was more focus on the model's face.

i agree, the first is the better of the two. the second seems to be distracting. i have no idea where the focus should be. Close down your f stop in these situations.

I agree with all the comments on #2. It seems really busy to me also. But I worked as a tech at Toyota for 3 years and that's definitely how cluttered a bay normally is.

Also I was just wondering what the yellow thing is on her back? it's reflecting off the firewall? Is that a mag clip or something? It just interested me.
