Couple more test portraits

i was blessed having my daughter around this last month so i could get some things dialed in for portraits. feel free to critique

i think the one above is a little oof. :/

#1 Nice composition and pose, Lighting a bit flat for my flavor but still nice

#2 Similar to above. Again lighting is dull and flat

#3 - There's no depth to the image. Its a nice shot but this lack of WOW factor takes away from it.

1. What lens are you using, I would agree she looks flat. Pretty good shot
2. What for the spots of light. If you have her in shade make sure the shade covers all of her face
3. I think if you crop this shot a little tighter... take some of the left and top off this could be the best of the three by a long shot. ALSO if you are editing it brighten her eyes a little to make them pop!

thanks for the input! the top ones were with the F4L 24-105, shot around 85mm @ 1/200 and i had my 420 ex with me but i dont think i was using it because my trigger had failed that day. and i see what you mean about the shadows in #2. i love shooting under trees and i'll certainly watch for that next time, thanks!
