So I went to Jerry's house and after a little trouble acquiring my press pass, I was able to get some shots. I rented a 400mm and it wasn't the greatest, it seems soft... but anyways here are the pictures:

I agree on the softness, a little to much dead space on a few but overall i like!

Definitely some are softer than is ideal, but you've also captured some good moments. Were your settings appropriate for a 400mm?

What settings are you referring to? I had the lens itself on autofocus with a minimum focus distance of 4.5m (I think) and 1/1000 of a second shutter, 1600 iso, and f/2.8. Also I was on ai servo.
