CPO(close protection officer) for Photojournalists?

There are tons of celebs that are using bodyguards and in many instances those bodyguards will attack photojournalists. So I was wondering could it be beneficial for photojournalists to start using bodyguards of their own?

This video made me think that maybe photojournalists should be using bodyguards.
