Way too dark. Not even the lit up parts show clearly. I have to squint and wish for my eyes to get adjusted to the darkness, which they won't do, of course, since it is not really dark all around me.

Same here. Monitor or video card quality I guess. Some said they saw my self portrait in a frogs eye & neither my son or I could on my computer. He called me later from home & said he could see it clearly on his monitor.

Forgive the geekdom, but I couldn't help but think of Dragon Ball when I saw this:

On the photography front, grain helps add to the 'warped' feel. Upping the contrast will make it more intense, but really, the fact there's a subtly-lighted face screaming at you from the darkness is scary enough for me. What are you going to use this for?
