Lately I have been going through a pattern and simplistic phase while still trying to my "style"

Please comment and gives ways I could improve on this picture.

put anything in it. Really there's no focus in the picture. Some subject other than the rope would make it a really cool photo, though.

That is a great idea. I know that there is really no subject in the picture but I really like the texture and pattern. And I like your idea.
