I think the first one needs better lighting - either diffused or directed different to not be reflecting off her nose, cheeks and chin. It makes me focus on her nose - but I like the pose

Two - I like this one more , but the crop is too tight for me. .....

might not be an expert BUT i think you hit it on the nose (hee hee)
funny how you notice things more once they are pointed out by others
