Hi :) I just wanted to let you know that I am just now learning to shoot in Manual--also just started really getting into Photography last year--so I KNOW I have A LOT to learn---but I thought I would start by asking some of you how I could go about making something like these pictures look better! THANK-YOU in advance!!

Fill flash. Not clipping feet and hands.

Getting more of your subject to fill the frame.

#1
You cropped out part of her hand. Personally, I don't think she has the most flattering pose in the first one.

#2
Your lines actually lead away from the subject :) not ideal.. She is not in focus. Backlighting is hard.

Ohh, and you have a gigantic and distracting watermark. Is it really necessary to include "photography" in watermarks? Imho, it's quite obvious that is photography we're looking at, and it only takes up precious space of your frame.

Just a little remarks from my side :)

#1 - I don't like this pose as mentioned before it's not the most flattering pose for this model. Her fingers are cut off on one hand.

#2 - I think it would have been better if she was sitting futher down the fence on the right side of the frame. The fence would have drawn your eye right to her. As it is my eyes are drawn away from her as the fence continues to the right of the frame. Also not having so much fence in the frame, more of her would have made this image shine.

I like the idea behind the photos, the colours are nice. Skin tones look good. :)

OK--THANKS everyone--I really appreciate it!! So when you say fill the frame with more of her--would I do that by zooming in on her?? I know I HATE that I cut parts of her hands and feet out :/ THANKS again!! Hopefully I can get it right :)

same thing here, #2 i prob would have had her standing instead of sitting on top and positioned her to the right. #1 seems nice except perhaps the pose. i love country photos tho.
