Ha I was just thinking to myself the other day when I left my camera at home that I feel naked without it I usually take it with me where ever I go. Not to the grocery store, but usually when I know I'm gonna be somewhere for an extended period of time. I work nights in a hospital. So, in my down time, which is usually most of the night, I read my manual and practice on my co-workers. One of my co-workers said she bought a dslr camera, but hated lugging it around. So, she said she takes a small p&s with her instead. She told me that I would get tired of carrying around all that equipment, but I haven't gotten tired yet. I love the fact that I can choose between lenses and put my flash on and take it off. Sometimes I don't even take it out the bag, but I like knowing it's there.

it's the only way i can leave the house feeling like i have everything i need.
plus i forgot my keys on 2 occasions and had to kick the front door in, a la chuck norris both times. the door jamb is a mess.
