Today was finally starting to feel like spring. It was an awesome day!

These little ruddy ducks are so cute and small. While I was waiting for the Ospreys I got mobbed by a flock? of them..

3 Dressed in camo, hidden in the rock pile, I finally had a Merganser swim really close...

4 My first Pileated Woodpecker! Not a great shot, but I tried to save it. These things are huge and really twitchy

I have seen this owl a few times but it doesn't stick around very long. I have more owls here Owls - a set on Flickr
