This was a fun one. She had the giggles big time at first but once she got over that, she was great. I gave her very little direction. C&C welcome, but please ask if you want to edit something. Her right eye looks squinted in every photo but there's a scar by it so I'm assuming it's been injured somehow, because it was squinted all the time not just when taking photos.

The model is a natural poser. I think you should be more careful about where you're photographing her in relationship to the sun and your surroundings. You have quite a few blown out spots on her skin (notably the shoulder) from the harsh sunlight.

Very nice job. A couple are a touch hot (even for me lol) and I can't say I love the few in sorta dappled light but wow what a great little model you have there. She is definitely a natural.

Thanks for the feedback! I really love this set and had a lot of fun with this kid. Yes the wings and sparkles were added in post. The sunlight was awwwwwful, by far my favorites are the ones taken at the end of the session when it was slightly softer... 3-6 and 11 I believe were at the end. We went out at 4pm, I knew immediately from the time it was going to be rough. Not a cloud in the sky, and no leaves yet on any of the trees around here. Very little shade. I did my best to get her in the softest light I could find. Some of the hot spots could be from over-exposure in post and I may go back and try to correct some of that. Funny, I have had a bad habit of slightly underexposing, at least from most feedback I've gotten. So I've been working to combat that and sounds like I over-corrected. I think the perception of hot/dark photos is somewhat subjective but I can definitely see where some spots on her skin are very bright. That's why I love having more than my set of eyes looking at things!

Nope not my daughter! Local girl up here, youngest child in a huge family from town. She just turned 10 and the family wanted something fun to celebrate! I used to watch Parenthood the first couple seasons but haven't lately, I'll have to look up the girl!
