d200 w 17K actuations

I am looking at a used d200 on ebay, body only for $660; it says 17K acutations.... one, is that how many pictures have been taken? and if so that sounds like a lot.... is this camera used up?

I cant really remember but it is in the 100K range, if I remember right. Also remember that when you do a firmware revision the actuation counter resets, from what I have been told.

Only 17k? I did more than that in my first 3 months of owning the camera Also even if it's reset the most recent firmware came out in Oct 2006. The odds of someone with a heavy use for his gear waiting more than a year to update their firmware just to sell the camera are quite low.
