D4's Are Apparently Shippinh

On another forum I frequent one of the European members posted that he received his D4 yesterday so they are apparently starting to ship. I don't know how the Euro / USA difference will affect things but you guys who have them on order better start getting your checkbook ready :thumbup:

Wasn't the expected shipping date supposed to be March 16 or something? If so they are pretty close to what they promised.

Ya that's what I heard too but I guess Nikon felt like they wanted to do something special for their customers. The Nikon D4 is packed with a 16GB XQD and an XQD card reader !

Kinda shocked that a dealer would be charging a 1k premium on a new body like that. Seems like gouging to me..

Used one today. It's ok. If you've used a D3s, it's really nothing that exciting, and yes it's just as ugly in person as it is in photos.
