darnit.. why must this happen just now that I'm short on money..

why must my camera belt get stuck behind the corner of the shelf and slip out of my hand just to fall, lens first, on the wooden floor one and a half meter down.. why

no glass is broken, but the zoom ring or whatever that thingy is called, is just as stuck as can be.

hmm.. any chance of fixing this? or should I just make a vase out of it?

anyway, seems like i'll be out of the photograping for a while , until I find a nice lense for, i hope, cheap.

I seem to atract stuff like this like a magnet for some reason

Have you tried another lens? Maybe you dodged a bullet and its just the lens that is
