bleep bleep beep [my time machine is counting back to 11:49] come'on Mishele!
No. After your "I hope you have a **** weekend." I retract my information. Is it possible to put a date onto digital images that I already have.
Thank You!, for joining TPF and being a contributing TPF forum member. That's nice, you horrible prick.
All that was needed, was for you to say that this forum is not used for things that I am asking for.
I hope you have a **** weekend.
if he retained that digital file.
if he retained that digital file.
He doesn't have an old photo. He wants to take a new one and add a date from 2006 to make it LOOK like it was taken 5 years ago.
In other word, submit falsified documents into what I assume would be a court case.
.......Now, the odds are that what is in the picture looks very different than it did 5 years ago. That would be a much more reliable way of telling how old a photo is to somebody that knows the property.
Heck, most of the time when people post photos here they accidently delete the EXIF data without having ever known it existed to start with.
The requirement is silly. The OP's reactions are silly. And it is ridiculously easy to fake a digital time stamp. It would be much more difficult to have the shadows in the right place for the season, the same plants in bloom, etc. Probably something the OP hasn't even thought about.
But I'm sure opposing counsel will scrutinize any image submitted quite thoroughly.
"I see you have a print here, with a date of July 17, 2006 on it. Was it taken with a digital camera, sir?"
"Why, yes it was."
"Do you still have the image file?"
Or..........
"Do you still have the camera you took that photo with?"
.............If you are going to forge a document and submit it to a court, why would you be truthful in any other aspect of the case?.........
