"I see you have a print here, with a date of July 17, 2006 on it. Was it taken with a digital camera, sir?"

"Why, yes it was."

"Do you still have the image file?"

"Why, yes I do."

"May I load it onto my laptop?"

"Why, yes you may." (Lawyer loads image).......

"Well, Mr. Forger. The date on the print says July 17, 2006. But the image data recorded by the camera says it was taken three days ago. How do you account for that?"

Or..........

"Do you still have the camera you took that photo with?"

"Why, yes I do."

"What make and model is it?"

"It's a Crap-O-Camera."

"What is the model number?"

"Hmmm. Let me look..... Here it is.... it's a model Xr-17Q."

"Interesting. The model of camera you are using did not exist five years ago. It was first introduced in 2009. Can you explain that?"
