Great shot! Looks good, but maybe a touch soft? Have you checked your lens for backfocus? Judging by the branch it might need a slight tune? Might just be web compression..

Not to pile on, but when I looked at it the first thing I said was that it doesn't look as sharp as his other shots do. I felt like I just moved from super-noob to average-noob!! <grin> But a cool owl nonetheless!
