Deer

was out taking some pics when i saw these deer in a field next to the road. i got two shots off before they started to run. let me know what you think, these are my first real wildlife shots.

man, no one like deer around here? guess i will have to go back to the lake and get more bird shots, hahaha.

This is the first time I see these. So I could not say anything about them before.
You did well.
I never got this close. "My" deer always started to run much sooner.
The crop is an evident crop, and yet you have enough detail left for the crop, which is good.
The last even has a bit of motion blur and I like that!

well, the crop was my 12x zoom getting a little closer than i expected, but it came out good so i was happy with it. Thanks for the compliments. the secret with the deer is be quiet, move slow, and use a good zoom, hahah.

Well, I thought birds were tough.. and some are really tough, others are easy.. but deer are very skittish, and just getting a shot is great.

well hopefully i will be getting many more of the deer. it will be tough durring the summer because they dont come out much during the day but from fall to spring it shouldnt be too hard to get a few.

Very nice shot. The 2nd shot is the best of course. They are timid creatures and can alude man any time they need too. Nice work!
