Nice set Sharon! I hate to burst your bubble but those aren't Snipes. :confusion: Hopefully they are still lifers... they are Dunlin.

Snipe will have much heavier striping on the back and you won't usually find them in salt water.

Huh. A birder who was there told me they were Snipes. Oh and this want salt water. It was a freshwater holding pond. I think. Heck maybe the holding ponds there are salt water!

Anyway, yes, a Dunlin would still be a lifer, but would also mean the scope hunt must go on.
