Did you miss your first dslr?

Don't really miss it... the only camera I miss is an Epson R-D1.

I don't miss my Nikon D50, because I still have it, but I do miss my first SLR (a Minolta SR-T 101). A lovely piece of Japanese engineering. I bought it with the earnings from my first job in high school. Couldn't afford a Canon AE-1 or Nikon F (or even a Nikon FM), but I loved that Minolta, and it taught me a lot about photography.

Absolutely not! I started on a Rebel XSI (450D) That thing gave me fits. I'm not sure if it was a bad body or what, but it NEVER got white balance right. The color management of that camera drove me nuts. I moved up to the 7D and voila! instantly better.

Mine was an Olympus E-450. I've had it for about two months. So I don't miss it-it's right here next to the couch. :mrgreen:

My D100 sat on my desk right next to me for years after I stopped using it. I still have it in a box (all original packaging actually) and will never get rid of it.
