I did! But no photo as the skyglow was much too strong. However, 10x30 binocs showed the comet just north of 5 Tau. Anyone else?

You do seem to have the lens cover on it. But your finderscope is going to have to be readjusted. Plus, you probably need to reposition the tube in the cradle.
