Dies Another Day.....

Very nice idea and execution, but I wish a couple of the branch tips were not cut off on the top and left. Can you go back there?

Thank you KenC; it is not far away; but i am not sure whether it remains there as such; it was a seasonal fall; now it must have full of leaves, i suppose...yet i keep this in mind

Regards :D

I really like the composition Freq. The sky is very noisy though.

i tried reducing it; but could not do that well; thank u Bazooka:D

How Topaz works? only through photoshop?

A strong visual sunset. The setting sun has just started to go below the hill, creating that star effect. Did you take any other pictures as the sun continued to set? It would have made even a stronger presentation.

I'm an old traditionalist. Version #3 is by far the best of them. Great color, and you get that certain sense of a winters setting sun.

You could have shot these on a much lower ISO to lessen the amount of noise. Your Exif on the first image reads as 1/4000s, f/22, ISO 6400. There's pretty much no need to shoot at 1/4000s @ f/22 in this situation.

f/22 is also not optimum for sharpness, as diffraction starts to occur at ~f/16.

You could have shot this at f/8, 1/500s, ISO 100 and come out with a less noisy, and sharper image with the same exposure. The composition is nice. If you get the opportunity, I'd like to see you retry this.

Thank you so much; actually harshness of light was high and so i did not want to risk the sensor; that is why such a shutter speed f value and a compensating ISO; of course had to pay the price :grumpy:

By the way, is your subject physics? i am impressed by the logic of diffraction at f/22 :D

Regards :D
