Do you shoot in the rain, how do you mind your gear?

Sometimes the simple solutions are the best ones. You can buy a box of 40 bags for $10, throw them in the trunk of the car. As far as weather seals go, I know of two guys that wrote off Canon 1D bodies because the seal wasn't so much of a seal as "manufactured statement" Shooting in the rain and shooting in a rain shower, seals or not, when it's pouring, always cover them.

I hear ya on that one. I have trash bags in my jeep for similar reason. Since I drive it with the top off or with a bikini top, I would use a trash bag to cover the front seats to keep them dry while I was at work. It works great and are easy to install.

I just so happens that my 'tall kitchen' trash bags are white! Now to find some white tape!

Oh...wait! I have red rings on my black lenses! I'll have to get some black bags! Perhaps it really is time for me to throw a couple in my camera bag and some rubber bands. I may need one to kneel down in some sloppy conditions!

I have two Think Tank Hydrophobia covers, one 70-200 and the 300-600. That and a D4s, pretty much covers it. Had a few cheaper sleeves but after half a dozen uses they were trashed.

This. I've found trash bags to be excellent and have used them to wrap around lights and power packs as well. Can also protect the models if the rain gets bad. Plus when in the middle of a damp rainforest or similar, it can be used as a waterproof mat to unpack equipment. Can't beat that versatility and it stores so easily for travel.
