I am a rather lazy person by nature, and sort of stroll through live....never moving too quickly. On one particular day however I did not have the strap of my Elan II with my 70-200 2.8 attached. Then WHOOPS it slipped out of my grasp and headed quickly to the pavement. Out of nowhere the "super speed" kicked in and I caught it haveway down.

All I heard from my friends was this, "Jesus, where did you move like that?" and "Since when can you move that fast?"

I can not see any humor in your photo, and I feel for your loss. Tough break. No pun intended.
