I'm not really sure what to think of these photos, there really isn't a focal point in any of them. And they are mostly just grey.

What was your though process taking these? Is there a message you were trying to convey?
 
Yeah...the first one is a bit too busy because of the fencing & stair railings. The other two are a bit too shallow. Add a bit more background & I think I'd like them more.
 
I like the first one as there is a cetain symmetry to it, the other two are just snapshots. I would like to see the original coloured images, as these do not have enough tonal contrast or tonal range to be good as black and white conversions.

I like the symmetry but not the lack of tonal contrast that makes them look 'muddy'.

The in-the-camera Monochrome (B&W) capture feature sucks, because all it does is de-saturate the original.

Did you use the in-the-camera Monochrome option?
 
I would play with the level to add more black.
