Not really a great composition. Otherwise fine, except for the glow on the tree.

OHHH it looks really pixley on my screen for some reason, so i thought it was messed up... now that i know its snow.. i can totally see it... its grey on my screen...

The sky and the tree are looking great, but the large empty space cut down the beauty of the picture. A crop would look more better then the original image.

a simple adjustment of contrast and saturation can achieve your desired color tone without leaving the surroundings of the tree behind

did you use the dodge and burn tool to brush over the sky instead?
