Does Size Matter?

To answer my own question… size does matter. That D 7000 was heavy ! especially when compared to the D 60 and the D5200. Not too heavy but very substantial feel. I think I might be sold on that one. My local camera store had a used one in stock for 699 but it was used not refurbished. I think I would rather pay $50 more to get the refurbished model and have at least some type of warranty. Also, it was the body and the manual only none of the typical battery charger and other accessories were included.

MP is nice for big prints, low noise and such.

I've circled back around on this and decided to go with the D5200. While I'm sure the D7000 is all that and more, I don't think I am experienced enough to need/use a lot of the more advanced features. I found the 18-105 vr lens refurbished for $209. If I go with the D5200 new body I'll have $ left over to put toward a prime lens and a flash.

Going to order earlier than I originally planned as it looks like the only thing Congress can agree on is that I will soon have to pay state tax even if I'm buying over the internet!

I think this is my final decision but I am fickle. Going out tonight to take a last look at both of them. Thank you all for your help!!
