we switched to a pair of Tenba Messenger bags a while back, and I dug this monster out of storage while i was trying to make some more room. Its a Godwin Neo photography backpack, and it is a beast. we never really used it because its too much for the wife to carry around when its full.
It is in excellent condition, though i did have to dust it off a bit from being in storage. a few minor scuffs on it, but all the zippers and Velcro compartments work perfectly, as do the strap clips.
The bottom section could easily fit 4 camera bodies (even medium format bodies) and the top section could easily house 5-6 lenses. there are 4 large side pockets, and one large front pocket.
there are two straps on the top, two on one side, and two on the bottom where you could mount a tripod. (or pup tent, or SMAW, or whatever) the arm straps are well padded, and there is a padded section for your lower back. There are also two waist straps. This thing is a beast of a backpack, and is not the kind of camera bag you throw a camera and lens in for a casual day of shooting. It is designed to get a large amount of equipment somewhere. It is made of a heavy vinyl material, extremely weather resistant (even the zippers have covers) and weighs 5 lbs empty. It is heavy duty.

So...Heres the deal.
We are donating this backpack. If you need something like this, post in this thread with a brief explanation of why you need it, along with a picture of the equipment you plan to put in it.
you don't necessarily need to have enough equipment to completely fill it, but please don't ask for this for your camera and two lens setup.
The chosen recipient will receive this backpack via USPS at a total out of pocket cost of $0 (zero) dollars to them.
Donation is open to continental U.S. (and Alaska)
Canada has gotten more expensive to ship to in recent years, but I hate to exclude the wife's country of origin..so...if you need this and live in Canada, I would be willing to ship this to Canada if you are willing to cover the shipping cost difference between First Class shipping to a northern US state and where you are in Canada. (probably about $20)

*Disclaimer
Me and/or the Wife retain the right to alter, cancel or otherwise change this Donation at any time for any dumb old reason.

We are leaving Jume 6th for a 3 week trip to Alaska and I'd live to have it. I'd even pass it along to someone else upon our return.

Send it to me or I'll publish those photos of the hot tub incident.

give you ten bucks for it.

Hi. I'm Shane, a 16 year old aspiring photographer based out of Atlanta, GA. I'm also an advocate collector owning over 20 cameras including 10 polaroid prototypes handed down to me from family. I'd like the bag because beyond street photography I intend to travel to Milledgeville this summer to shoot the old abandoned Psychiatric ward and am trying to build up my arsenal before then. The photo posted are the cameras I carry with me along with a nikon 3100 with an extra lens. I truly hope that you decide to donate to me but if not thank you for the opertunity nonetheless.

I have started to hike more into areas to see more of nature...this would truly allow to take some camera gear and
clothing too. I wish upon a star...to win :)

i could use it to condense some stuff. And the suitcase isn't working too well either. when i pick it up the free roaming cameras and lenses inside smash down to the bottom from that gravity thing...

Think it would fit a bag of ice too?

This is a super cool pack, and it is great of you to give it away!
But all I have is one camera, three lenses, and a cheap tripod (A good tripod is the next thing I am saving up for ;) ) and a hand full of other junk, so I don't have enough for this monster! However with this I could take a few of the dogs with me, just stash them in a pocket and away you go!!!:biglaugh:

so...
are there cameras in any of those bags?
or did you just want to pack smaller camera bags into a larger camera bag?
any other equipment you want to drag along? this backpack will fit almost a literal ton of stuff. (metric or imperial)
there's room for everything we have in there minus the light stands. two bodies, 6 flashes, 8 triggers, monopod, tripod, 8 lenses, 12 batteries....and all the accessory stuff. and that still leaves spaces for two more bodies in the bottom section.

Of all the people here, I think Newton needs the pack the most. He/she is lugging around some pretty big cameras which are hard to fit into a standard-sized bag. Been there.

Man that IS a ton of stuff! It's like a studio on your back. :biggrin-93:
