Went riding my bike around downtown Plano, Tx. Didn't know they had the structures they had down there till I went riding around. Next time I go, I'm locking the bike up and walking.

Please critique as you like. I'm my own worst critic. But I like hearing what others think.

First one and the one with the bicycle but in this case, would have rather seen it is a normal aspect because the eye catch is the bike wheel, not the angle of the shot...I'd do a reshoot on this. The first one could have stood more DoF. If you have to jack the ISO to get more f/stop, IMO, in this shot it wouldn't hurt much.

The last one is one of those,"close but no cigar," shots. The brightness of the tall street light draws my eye way too far past the walking dude. Also, extra stories really not needed. Lower angle shot and time the walking dude a little closer to center or closer to walking in the scene rather than out and you could have a winner.

I totally get what you're saying about the bike. When I was going over them, I would have rather gotten that one from an angle looking straight on. But at the time, I was in a private community and just so happened to find an open gate. I looked up and saw the bike, then heard a guy clearing his throat. Snapped two shots and left. I may dress a lil nicer and go back for sure.

And the first one, I'll try that. Thanks. I need a tripod. Then it'd be alot easier. Not sure, but I think at that point I had forgotten the exposure compensation was down 2 stops in p mode. Didn't really set up for the shot. But now that you say that, though, I see what you mean. Thanks. I'll try that next time I'm out there.
