Droplets - New Macro Lens

I've just received my new macro lens and giving it a test. This is my first 1:1 macro lens. This is a stacked focus shot of 16 images. Individual shots were taken at F13, ISO 100, Shutter Speed 5" (didn't want to use flash). I've tested on F2.8 (Edit: F5.6 due to close focus distance) but I think I need macro rail in order to get everything in focus (even at F13, I saw some spots didn't quite tack sharp when zoom 100%). Now I know what people meant when they mentioned about tiny DOF on Macro Photography. BTW, I am using Zerene Stacker. Please C&C. I want to learn as much as I can about Macro Photography.

Came out great considering the stacking. Macro does have shallow DOF. Here's my take and just a personal thing. I would prefer less DOF and a higher ratio to isolate just one or two drops. I would let DOF do its thing and fall into the shot and fall out again with just the diffraction in the drop itself showing sharp and detailed. Like I said though, that's just personal taste. Shallow DOF and selective focus can work a treat.
