I used my Canon Rebel XT that has been converted to infrared. The lens was a Asahi 50mm @ f/4. I shot this in my studio using a fish tank.

I have always been scared of drowning because im not the best swimmer in the world. Even shooting this was a little scary for me (the second shot anyway).

Well done.

Are they supposed to be seen together or separately?

Together: I like the concept except that, even though the skin tones seem to match, the blueish tone of the hair makes it look as if they don't quite fit together. Might work better if you could get the same tone in the handcuffs somehow.

Separate: The left one doesn't do much for me but I like the right one. "Lady of the Lake" type of thing. The composition, light, and tones are very nice in both but I would clone out that white ) thing in the right bottom corner of the left photo.

Very creative. Show us more.

Btw, knowing how to swim would not help you much in an aquarium  But if you are scared of drowning (and people have drowned themselves with a glass of water), make sure there's someone else around when you shoot that kind of stuff.

Now, a question for you: how is a body converted to infrared? Never heard of that.

very cool.
a bit macabre...but very cool!

They are supposed to be seen together obviously. The color I cant do much about since it was all the camera that made the colors and I dont like to mess much with photoshop. I agree the line from the bottom of the tank should be cloned out. A camera is converted by removing the IR blocking filter and replacing it with a IR filter. Google infrared photography for more info.

Nice. They create quite a dramatic impact.
