Duotone critque please...

I am new here, but this is one of my favorites so far. The halo around the bird creates a little bit of a copy and pasted look, but other than that, the seagull serves a great purpose.

Thanks guys I appreciate your comments. I am still planning on getting back the shot one day to edit it again as I agree that the boat needs more detail and to remove the blue cast to it...
Surprisingly a lot of my friends actually prefer the original colour shot to the duotone...I dont feel that the colour pic has ny 'punch' though...
