Nice try. I would think a bit about composition. As it is, for me, it is not the best. There is not much going on and I would rather focus the viewer on what matters: the trees with shadows and the combination of water - land - water - land. How about cutting of the left side at the point of the last small tree before the main subject ? To make the picture square ? That will give us much "cleaner" presentation. The half a tree at the edge is especially disruptive.
