Early Morning Light

Totally accomplished a sneak out this morning LOL. went and got coffee and then went down to one of the local parks/campgrounds that is at the junction of the Willamette and Clackamas Rivers.
These are a couple of the shots I liked the best.

suprisingly there were no fisherman or boats out on either of the rivers yet this morning.

Very tranquil.

I like the first one, but the sky has a very choppy gradient from blue to white--I see clearly defined bands of color instead of a smooth gradient. Also, the reflection on the water is a beautiful color, but the sky right above it is blown out.

Yeah I am stuck using a free photo editing program with no frills, I don't even think I can spot edit with it, if I can I haven't figured it out yet, I'm hoping that in the next couple of months I can finally get photoshop elements and learn how to use it.

1. i see you're at f/14 .. maybe lowering it to around f/8 might help smoothing it out... btw i like the picture regardless
