Paypal gave me my money back. All fixed. I didn't get screwed. Thank God I was worried there for a minute. Gives me more confidence in using Paypal.

Congratulations, glad to see you come out of it ok. The seller must have issued you a refund after you opened the resolution case. Kinda explains why he couldn't give you the tracking information. He never shipped it !! If he had, I doubt you would have gotten a refund this quick. Now at least you have your money back to find another lens. Just be sure to check the seller if your going to buy on e-bay. Just a thought.....do you have any camera stores near you that sell used equipment? Might cost a little more, but at least you can see and test what your buying. Maybe even get atleast a 30 day warranty with it. Either that or if your going to shop on e-bay, check out shutterblade. I've gotten a few things from him and he's very honest with his descriptions and will give a 30 day money back garrauntee. He also has an on-line store. usedcameras.com. They're out of Ashland, VA and ship everything via fedex

Actually Paypal issued the refund not him. HE was very mean and told me to well..... anyways............ So I'm gonna do some looking an hopefully can find a good deal.
