Can others edit my Photos
Photos OK to edit
here is a picture of my cousins that one of her friends took, and then i edited
what do you think?
my main concerns are the jawline, and the eyeshadow, because im just getting into doing that stuff

In general, I think the edit is a significant improvement, but there's something about her cheek/jawline that I can't quite put my finger on; almost a slightly swollen appearance? Sort of like she's just had dental work. Other than that though, well done.

better?

I'm a noob at this, so take my critique with that in mind. My first thought is that the shadow that separates her chin from her neck is gone, so her chin looks sort of 2 dimensional. The edges of it are really harsh. Other than that, a vast improvement.

Edited to add: the more I look at it, the more I think that maybe you should go a little easier on the eyeshadow. It sort of (please don't take this the wrong way if this is someone you know) makes her look like a tranny. Sorry. :meh:

yeah...
thats what i was worried about...
like i said it was my first try with that

Not sure that I can see much difference between the first and second edit, but maybe that is just me, although the edit from the original to the 2nd and 3rd ones is quite good. My main nit is the skin colour, it seems a bit yellow on her forehead (a reflection of what she is leaning against?), her cheeks are pink (makeup?) and her hand seems very light, almost white in places. I would think that the skin colour should be similar, except, perhaps where makeup has been applied. Also, the fact that you cannot see her neck, bothers me just a bit - don't know why - it just does. Was this taken with just natural light, or was some external light sources used, but then you didn't take them, so I guess we should be asking the original photographer.

Cheers,

WesternGuy

it was an amateur photographer with amateur gear
so yes natural light
