Edmonton, Alberta event

Did any of our Edmontonian friends see the big meteor in the sky? AOL has a featured article about it, even with a video of the event as captured by a police car video camera.

I was just curious to see if any saw it.

Saw it on the news but at that time they didn't know what it was. Did they determine it was a meteor?

They are almost certain it was a meteor given the angle it fell from the sky. Pretty neat if you ask me! I was too far south to see it but my cousin was in Edmonton and apparently saw it in all it's glory. Right now there are apparently lots of search parties near the Alberta/Saskatchewan border scouting out pieces of it.

I didn't see it but that video you mentioned that came from the police video camera? I'm friend's with that cop's wife and he is a cop in my town! I posted a link to that video in someone else's topic about it.

Maybe it was the toolbox that the Astronaut lost last week...

I didn't see it, other than on the news. I did hear that it could be seen in all sorts of places from here to the middle of Saskatchewan.
