Enough Resolution?

    Out in the garden as usual today and grabbed a snap of some verbena. Back at the computer I noticed bugs. Check out this bug -- it has legs and two eyes and two antennae and it's looking at me.

    You can even see the shadow of it's antennae on the flower petal. And that's an APS class sensor.

    I think this highlights the fact that you don't need the best equipment to take good shots, you just need to use what you have well.

    Looks a little like a buprestid, albeit a rather conservatively-colored one. And yes, impressive detail for such a blow-up. Like the man says, it's not the equipment, it's the photographer that counts.

    That's crazy because Im assuming you werent even conscious of what you were capturing in full but some how you caught it at right moment. Skill on point bravo.
