Can others edit my Photos
Photos NOT OK to edit
I'm interested in purchasing an EOS 1D (Mark I) around Christmas and I'm trying to see if any users out there have any experience with them (primarily previous owners that had them and then upgraded). I'm contemplating between that and the Mark II. The reason I'm choosing the mk I is for several reasons - large pixel size and cost. I shoot a T3 now, so it would be an obvious upgrade. I'm also interested in the burst mode, as I have some family members who are into sports and I'd love to photograph them.

I just want to know the pros and cons of previous owners' experience.

I would consider the Mark II. It's slightly more expensive, but it has better ISO performance,, more resolution, the ability to zoom into photos on the LCD (you can't do that in the 1D Classic), and with the latest firmware you can use SD/CF cards up to 32GB.

It's also the first 1D to support ETTL II flash metering.

But then again, I've only owned the Mark II so I guess I'm a bit biased. Heheh. :D
