Err message

Please does anyone know how to fix Err message on Nikkon D600?. I discovered that the shutter doesnt move when i click the shutter button as well

It's probably your SD card which is faulty. That's the go-to solution.

Alternative solutions that I can think of:
- Switch lenses and check if there is an issue with the mounted lens.
- Do a factory reset of the camera.

ERR is a error code that can be caused by many things - many things that you can't fix - which is why the manual says:
"If error persists or appears frequently, consult a Nikon-authorized service representative."

The ERR error is likely indicating a failing or failed shutter mechanism.
If you're in the USA Nikon USA Service charges between $250 and $300 to replace a shutter.

Since it's a D600, I bet this failure would fall under the service advisory...

Hmm ? The D600 has a service advisory for the shutter oil on the sensor ... I'm not aware this here is covered by that.

I purchased mine 5 years ago used. Just got the err message with the similar symptoms, only that my mirror was not moving. I held mirror up while taking a shot and got a fix.
