escaped gorilla at Oakland Zoo!!!

Not really, but I've always wanted to yell that while at the zoo!

Well, I went to the Oakland Zoo today to see if I could anything good. Besides it being hot and dodging tons of kids, I realized something. All of the animals love to hide from the sun and stay in areas where you can't really get a good shot. There really wasn't much out there today. Maybe if you go when its cooler. I went mainly for the bats.

Anyway heres some of the good ones. Nothing that I'm really excited about....

What do you guys think?

2) Not the best photo. This was cropped from a larger photo, so its not that clear but I love how from far away they are beautiful birds but when you get close, their eyes look really evil.

1st and last for me. Bat could possibly do with a color dodge to see if you can get more details from the blacks. I had a quick go at this here and you can really bring out a lot of detail. For instance the bats arm etc..

Really like the last one, but would look better upside down. As the Z Z shaped lines lead you out of the shot instead of into it

Just my thoughts.
