I couldn't tell it was a chair.. but didn't understand why she'd be squatting around some purple box with an animal on it. I didn't instantly see the perverted symbolism like others.. just wondered why the heck she was on this purple animal box. lol SHE looks gorgeous in the photo.. but the box (apparently chair) makes zero sense to me.

Okay, so being serious for a moment, part of the issue is that I'm remembering the whole scene, not this somewhat cropped version. I'm not overly fond of this crop, but I really, really like her look in this shot. So, do you think I should go with Runnah's plan and just obscure the chair (it's a child's wooden chair she's sitting on). Bin this shot altogether (there's lots more, just haven't processed any yet), or.... ?

It's a good informal portrait. Keep it.

I wouldn't bin it. If you like the expression so much try cropping it just below the elbows taking out the chair. The chair doesn't bother me, but I see her as she is the focus of the picture.

I actually like the purpleish haze in the background. It matches her skin tone well. I love this...no words to explain it, but I like it! I think the purple of the box is distracting and clashes with the purple in the background...but it's a good portrait anyway.

Thank you Runnah. The silly purple cat chair was bothering me, no offense TI. But this is so much more fitting and really makes the shot cohesive to me. Good team work.
