Evening Egrets

I usually get to my birding spot in the early morning. Yesterday I had the opportunity to shoot there in the evening a few minutes before it got too dark.

I'm so ticked I didn't have my aperture smaller for this one

i like the darker backgrounds, you don't see that too often can you give details on how you accomplished this?

Thanks, Mike. This was just before sunset. I exposed for the very white birds which basically underexposed the background rendering it very dark.
