Exposure Meter In Viewfinder

I can see mine with a larger soft rubber eyepiece on the camera to exclude the outside light.
For the viewscreen I have to use a hood with a lens to see anything outside.
I only use the viewscreen for video though.

Makes it unusable. It also disables the shooting information display.

What if you fold-out the screen prior to installing the eyecup?

Still disabled, I just checked to find out. You have to remove the eye cup to operate the flip screen, I don't see why one would want to put the eye cup back on when using that feature.

I was thinking mainly to be able to use the image preview function. But if the eyecup simply activates the proximity sensor then it is what it is.
