i agree, really cool photos but would have been nice if the DOF was a little bigger. Still its amazing how close you can get.

I agree. I used to do these a lot, but the DOF is too narrow for anything decent. I did get a couple of good ones that even sold for a good bit, but that's a rarity.

I also don't see the point in taking a picture of a letter on a page. Find some interesting subjects to shoot and it will open things up.

Have fun with it. It will let you see things in a whole new light. My combo let me see tons closer than you ever could with the human eye.
