Extremely sad to say I broke my camera...

I was out with a few friends at the bar and someone nudged into me and broke my Canon PowerShot...I mean I know at least it was not my good camera, but I brought that one everywhere :'(

Does anyone know if you can do anything if the lens is jammed in just a tad? or is it a lost cause???????

Try contacting Canon to see what the repair costs will be - if they are too high based on the units price new you might consider the "canon loyalty scheme" as an alternative use for the broken camera:

Wow cool...I have never broken a Canon before, so this really helps.....but I am from Canada could I not just ship it or it is strictly just USA...no shipping

As far as I know its USA only, but if you are living in the USA it should count? (least you say you're in Toronto). Otherwise you'd have to ship camera and cash to a friend and have them make the purchase for you.

I've broken, so far, EVERY Canon I've owned, my Powershot, My Rebel and one of its lenses, and next on the chopping block is my Elan 7e lol

EVERY time I sent one off to Canon they fix the problem and replace all my grips. Excellent service, my first full-frame is going to be a Canon their customer service is unparalleled.

My brother had also broke his camera before what we only did is that we asked for an assistance in any authorized canon store and since he has still warranty we just show the warranty paper and replace the camera a new one.

My sony cybershot w380 had broke by my friend . Now the problem is I am unable find out Its repair center If any one from karachi tell me any repair center.
